These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to every jewelry purchase you make through almirajewels.uk or directly from Almira Jewels. They set out the rules of our agreement with you, ensuring clarity and fairness in every transaction, while complying with UK laws like the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Sale of Goods Act 1979.

Scope

When you place an order with us, it’s an offer to buy that we accept once payment is confirmed and the items are available. We’ll send you an email to acknowledge your order, followed by a confirmation once it’s processed. Occasionally, we may need to refuse an order—for example, if an item is out of stock, there’s a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If that happens, we’ll let you know promptly and refund any payment made.

Pricing

All prices on our website are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable, as required by UK tax laws. Shipping costs are calculated separately at checkout and will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase. We reserve the right to adjust prices, but the price you see when you place your order is the one you’ll pay, barring any obvious errors (e.g., a £1,000 ring listed as £10).

Payment

We accept payments via credit or debit cards and PayPal, processed securely through trusted payment gateways. Full payment is required at the time of ordering to secure your items. If there’s an issue with your payment, we’ll contact you to resolve it; otherwise, your order won’t proceed until payment clears.

Delivery

Delivery times vary depending on your location—typically 3 to 5 business days within the UK—and we’ll provide an estimated delivery date with your order confirmation. We use reliable couriers and provide tracking where possible, but please note that delays can occur due to factors beyond our control, like weather or postal issues. Once the jewelry is delivered to your specified address, the risk of loss or damage passes to you, so check your package carefully upon arrival.

Right of Withdrawal

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you buy online, you have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind and cancel for any reason. Just email us at customercare@almirajewels.com to let us know, then return the item within 14 days of notifying us. We’ll refund you within 14 days of receiving it back, provided it’s in its original condition. You’ll cover return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Warranty

Our jewelry comes with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of delivery. If something goes wrong—like a clasp breaking due to a flaw—contact us at customercare@almirajewels.com with details and photos. We’ll repair, replace, or refund the item, depending on the issue and availability. This warranty doesn’t cover damage from wear and tear, misuse, or accidents.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, reflecting our base in London. If a dispute arises that we can’t settle informally, it will be resolved in the courts of London, though we’ll always aim to address your concerns directly first.
